Migraine Headaches
Physicians often fail to diagnose migraine headaches and thus their patients do not benefit from the latest treatments, suggested New York and BaltiĀ more researchers. Their survey of 20,468 people aged 12 to 80 found that migraines were only diagnosed in 41 % of female and 29% of male sufferers. Older, high-income migraine patients are more likely to be diagnosed and treated than younger, poorer ones, the researchers stated in the Archives of internal Medicine.
